GB 44240-2024, as a national mandatory standard, serves as the entry threshold for the field of energy storage lithium batteries, meaning that energy storage lithium batteries must meet the requirements of this standard before being put into use or entering the market. If energy storage lithium batteries are applied on the power grid side, additional compliance with GB/T 36276-2023 is also required.
